Step 3 | Change Password & Disable Recording


Change Password: The 'Change Password' option allows you to set a custom password for your KEYKatcher keystroke recorder. The password should be something which would never be typed during normal operation, such as "abxr45tl". Choose a password which is unique, and will ONLY be typed when you want to access the KEYKatcher. After entering your new password twice, the KEYKatcher will respond with "Password updated" if both entries match. The example on the left shows the password changed to 'florida'.

Disable Recording: This menu option is used to temporarily disable the device. It will read as "Disable recording" during normal operation. This enables you to use your PC, and not record keystrokes, without having to
